New SE London Mumpreneurs Networking Group

The SE London Mumpreneurs Network group is a new networking group, for mumpreneurs who would like to come together on a more regular basis to support and inspire eachother, while finding new business.

The SE London Mumpreneurs Networking Group will meet once a month, every month. The group will run for two hours over coffee and cake between 10am - 12pm. The next meeting will be held on Thursday 12 July at Chapters in Blackheath.


The monthly meeting will consist of:
  • 1 min introduction for every member
  • 5 min presentation for 2 x members
  • A referral session ( letting each other know about opportunities, referrals etc)
  • 15 min brainstorm sessions for 2 x members
  • Networking
For just £155 you will be able to access the following for the whole year
  • 10 monthly networking group meetings (includes tea/coffee and cake) - no additional fee
  • 1 feature about your business in the monthly e-newsletter
  • 10% discount on all other SE London Mumpreneur events
  • List your business and logo on the new Business Directory on the new SE London Mumpreneur website
Only one person per field will be able to join the group and members need to sign-up for a minimum of 12 months. However, mumpreneurs can trial the group at a cost of £15.

South East London Mumpreneurs Businessmums Workshop - 24th May 2012 'How to write a press release and gain media coverage.

The workshop is being led by experienced journalist and media tutor Nikki Spencer, who will examine the media opportunities in all areas of the media, and include practical advice on writing press releases and approaching publications.

Award Winning Mumpreneur Antonia Chitty to speak at Businessmums Networking Lunch in Crystal Palace on Tuesday 18th October 2011

The South East London Mumpreneurs Network and Sell It Mama! are holding a Businessmums' Networking Lunch on Tuesday 18th October at the Exhibition Rooms in Crystal Palace, with award winning guest speaker Antonia Chitty, Founder of ACPR, editor of family friendly working and author of the Mumpreneur Guide.

In 2009, Antonia won the Inspirational Business Mum of the Year award, she will be sharing her story with other mumpreneurs and will be giving top tips from the Mumpreneur Guide and her recently launched book ' Do You Want Your Own Business'.

Antonia Chitty is the founder of ACPR which she created after the birth of her daughter in 2002.

Working with a team of freelancers and work from home mums, ACPR carved out a niche in baby and child PR, with an emphasis on eco-friendly products.

Antonia herself trains and coaches small business owners and entrepreneurs through the Mumpreneur Guide, http://www.themumpreneurguide.co.uk/  She is the author of books on business, health and parenting including, Do You Want Your Own Business, The Mumpreneur Guide's Start your Own Business Book and A Guide to Promoting Your Business, a practical work book for everyone who wants PR demystified and to learn simple low cost promotion techniques.

Sam is passionate about flexible working for parents. SE London Mumpreneurs Network - new programme of activities for 2011 coming soon....

The South East London Mumpreneur Network offers mums in business or wishing to be in business with the opportunity to engage with a community of other mums to support and ultimately inspire each other, while networking, finding new business, developing confidence and sharing experiences and ideas.

We are currently developing a range of events and activities for mums in business or with a business idea for 2011, including the hugely popular ‘businessmum networking lunches’ and ‘brainstorm in a teacup’ sessions as well as, new skills workshops, more regular networking and referral meetings and an excellent new membership package.
